Epcot is the most delicious of all the Disney parks, and the tastiness quotient grows exponentially whenever there is a festival. Until June, the Flower and Garden Festival is in full bloom and the snacks available are just as stunning as the blossoms on display. Heres a tour of some of the highlights.

Epcot is the most delicious of all the Disney parks, and the tastiness quotient grows exponentially whenever there is a festival. Until June, the Flower and Garden Festival is in full bloom and the snacks available are just as stunning as the blossoms on display. Here’s a tour of some of the highlights.

1. Violet Lemonade

The Violet Lemonade is definitely a Guest favorite. Located at the Pineapple Promenade near the Refreshment Port, this frozen concoction comes topped with an edible violet. It’s a frozen, non-alcoholic beverage, and costs $4.25. It is Disney Dining Plan (DDP) eligible. It’s a fairly tart treat and perfect for a hot afternoon.

2. Frushi

Conceptually, frushi seems a bit odd. It’s a sushi roll, filled with fruit instead of seafood. As curious as it sounds, the reality is delicious. The frushi at Flower and Garden is available at Hanami in the Japan Pavilion. It’s made of pineapple, strawberry and melon. It’s wrapped in coconut rice and then topped with whipped cream, berry sauce, and toasted coconut. It costs $5.95 and is DDP eligible.

3. Pomodori Verdi e Mozzarella

It may not be the Whistle Stop Cafe, but Primavera Kitchen in the Italy Pavilion serves up a mean fried green tomato. Served with mozzarella cheese and a balsamic reduction, it’s definitely worth the $8, and like the other items it is DDP eligible.

4. Honey Mascarpone Cheesecake

For sheer aesthetics, the local wildflower honey-mascarpone cheesecake with orange blossom honey ice cream is definitely one of the festival standouts. Luckily, the flavor is just as good as the presentation. The item is garnished with fennel pollen meringue kisses and petite lavender shoots. You can purchase this little work of art at the Honey Bee-Stro near the Refreshment Port. It costs $5 and is DDP eligible.

5. The Beef Brisket Burnt Ends and Smoked Pork Belly Slider

Stop by the Smokehouse: Barbecue and Brews in the American Adventure pavilion and treat yourself to the beef brisket and pork belly slider. It’s served with garlic sausage, chorizo, cheddar fondue, and a house-made pickle. It costs $7.50 and is DDP eligible.
