Steven Charles Stricker is an American professional golfer who plays in the PGA Tour and PGA Tour Champions. He had twelve victories on the PGA Tour, including a WGC-Match Play title in 2001 and two FedEx Cup playoffs. His most successful season on tour came at the age of 42 in 2009, with three wins and a second place on the silver list. Stricker spent more than 250 weeks in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Rankings, reaching a career high world ranking as No.2 in September 2009. Stricker will captain the U.S. Ryder Cup for matches in 2021, which take place in Whistling Straits in his home state of Wisconsin.
