It turns out that Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are so estranged nowadays that they barely communicate anymore and when they do, it’s just via texts and their assistants. This revelation comes after the two actually reunited at their baby daughter True’s first birthday party. Apparently, they didn’t socialize with one another much there either!
Khloe is apparently trying her best to co-parent with her baby daddy but while necessarily, communication is not really something they’re good at.
One source tells HollywoodLife that they only discuss important things regarding their child via text messages or through their assistants.
‘Things are so difficult that the two did not speak at True’s birthday and their only form of communication they now have is through assistants and via texts. Tristan and Khloe will text when need be but heavily rely on assistants to do the communicating.’
Despite the two of them both being in attendance at True’s birthday party, the insider claims it’s been a while since the exes really interacted.
‘They have not spoken face to face in quite some time. Tristan’s made it clear that he is fine with Khloe having True all of the time. At the end of the day, he is fine with it because he feels Khloe is the best caretaker for True, especially with his busy and traveling NBA schedule. Khloe feels like she’s tried and to no avail. She feels Tristan just tries to see True when it’s convenient for him.’
The KUWK star has pretty much already accepted that she’s the only parent truly in her daughter’s life and while she’s saddened by this, she is proud of her skills as a mother.

Of course, there’s nothing she’d like more than to have Tristan spend quality time with True as often as possible but if he doesn’t want to, she has no intention of forcing it in any way.
