KSI, Tommy Fury, Logan Paul and Dillon Danis are going to be very rich men after their fights on Saturday night.
Fury vs KSI and Paul vs Danis took place on the same card in Manchester and reportedly sold an astonishing 1.3 million pay-per-views.
These reports come via Happy Punch, who are an influencer boxing promotional company who regularly work alongside Misfits Boxing, the promotional company who put on Saturday night's fights.
The DAZN pay-per-view was priced at $54.99 in America and £19.99 in the UK and the revenue generated, not including ticket sales and sponsorship's, is estimated to be around £26m.
With that being said, this event did not sell as many pay-per-views as the second fight between KSI and Logan Paul, which according to promoter Eddie Hearn did two million buys globally, although this was at a £9.95 price point in the UK.
While the event was an undoubted commercial success on Saturday night, the in-ring action, while entertaining, lacked quality.
More on Boxing
In the fight between Paul and Danis, the MMA fighter barely threw a punch and was disqualified in the final round as a mass brawl broke out.
Meanwhile, KSI vs Fury was incredibly scrappy and it ended controversially as the ex-Love Islander won by unanimous decision, but many people believed the social media star deserved the victory.
So, even though the boxing might not be of the highest standards, when you consider how much money these influencer boxing events generate, they can be expected to continue.
There have already been calls for KSI and Jake Paul to clash, which would arguably be bigger than any influencer boxing fight that has happened so far.
