Ime Sunday Udoka is a Nigerian-American professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association, currently suspended by the team for the 2022–23 season.

Mfon, the older sister of Ime is also a former professional basketball player. She was born in Portland, Oregon, and went to Benson Polytechnic High School. She got her diploma there in 1994. Mfon went to DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, from 1994 to 1998 to get a better education.
Mfon led the Nigeria women’s national basketball team to the 2004 Summer Olympics. At the Olympics, she was second in the tournament in scoring and rebounding but Nigeria finished 11th out of 12 teams.
Under Mfon’s leadership, Nigeria became the first African team to ever win a game at the Olympics. Mfon also led Nigeria at the 2006 FIBA World Championship for Women, where Nigeria finished in the last (16th) place.
She is an assistant coach for the Nigeria women’s national basketball team, the D’Tigress.
