Ice Spice has taken fans on a trip down memory lane by revisiting yet another throwback photo, this time unearthed by Nardwuar.
The “Munch” rapper recently linked up with the Human Serviette at Tyler, The Creator‘s Camp Flog Gnaw festival in Los Angeles, where she experienced a blast from the past after being presented with an old high school volleyball photo.

In the picture, Ice’s trademark curly hair is pulled back into a ponytail and she can be seen rocking a forest green number four jersey while stood next to her teammates.
“Delete this now!” she joked after laying eyes on the photo, before changing her tune. “This is so cute! Shoutout my coach, Barb.”

After Nardwuar asked her about her squad number, she said: “Isn’t that crazy? My number was four. Why I forget that for a second? Damn.”
The veteran journalist/detective then pointed out that she also “loves number eight and a couple of others,” to which she replied: “I do love number eight… how do you… how do you… I mean, you be knowing everything, right?”

The picture is the latest in a series of throwback snaps featuring Ice Spice to surface online. Earlier this year, the Bronx native appeared in a separate photo posing with her high school volleyball team that went viral.
The 23-year-old played for Sacred Heart High School in Yonkers, New York and earned herself a full scholarship to play in college for SUNY Purchase.

However, in an interview with DJ Booth last summer, she revealed she only played college volleyball for a year after deciding the sport was not for her.
She also flirted with the idea of becoming an actress, as well as enrolling in beauty school, before she decided to pursue a music career.

Before that, Ice’s yearbook photo circulated online, drawing comparisons to actress Lauren London.
In music news, the self-proclaimed Hip Hop princess is up for four awards at the 2024 Grammys, including Best New Artist, Best Rap Song (“Barbie World” with Nicki Minaj) and Best Pop/Duo Group Performance (“Karma” with Taylor Swift).
