According to the Netflix documentary Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes, Rose’s mother conceived her when Ted was on death row. Carole’s visit to Ted in jail likely resulted in her becoming pregnant. In the show, Rose’s dad said that he and Rose’s mom paid guards so that Carole could come into jail for a few sex sessions.
Rose’s mom said the guards would periodically walk in on them but would do nothing. It has been said that Rose’s mother has smuggled drugs and money into prison for her son, in addition to organizing conjugal visits.
During Ted’s 1980 Orlando trial, Rose’s mother drove roughly 40 miles to testify as a character witness against him. Carole’s pregnancy made her uncomfortable. On the second anniversary of Ted’s horrific abduction and murder of 12-year-old Kimberly Leach, Rose’s parents celebrated their first wedding anniversary.

For seven years, Elizabeth and Ted were inseparable. Jayme had a friendly relationship with Rose’s dad. Jayme is Rose’s older brother from her mother’s previous relationship.
It has also been reported that Rose and her sister Jayme accompanied their mother on all of her prison visits. While Ted was in prison, they took some family photos with him. Rose’s parents divorced three years before Ted’s 1989 execution due to the instability, oddity, and dishonesty of Carole’s commitment to Ted and her persistent denial of his crimes.
Rose’s mom moved to Emerald City after divorcing Ted and submitting divorce papers. Rose and Jayme, her two kids, were with her as well.
Reportedly, after turning down Ted’s last-minute phone call the morning before his execution, Carole never saw or spoke to him again. Rose and her brother and mom kept a low profile. Therefore, her whereabouts at present are unknown.
